Briggs & Stratton Fuel Fit®, (992381), is a fuel stabiliser designed to keep petrol fresh and protect small engines even during long periods of storage. Its advanced formula keeps carburettors clean for easier starting, shields engine components from ethanol-related corrosion, and maintains fuel stability for up to 3 years.

Modern E5 and E10 fuels contain ethanol, which naturally attracts moisture from the air. This creates an ethanol-water mix that is highly corrosive to metal engine parts and accelerates fuel degradation. As fuel breaks down, gums and varnishes form inside the carburettor, sticking valves, clogging jets, and causing hard starting, rough running, overheating, and fuel system blockages — especially in seasonally used equipment.

Fuel Fit® combats these issues with its latest triple-antioxidant technology. It includes a powerful corrosion inhibitor that forms a protective barrier on metal components, along with detergent additives that prevent gum and varnish build-up. The result is cleaner, more reliable engine performance and easier starting all year round
